TIOFP was founded to provide a networking and bespoke service to applied professionals.
TIOFP recognised that the breadth of professionals requiring specific training, events, consultancy and research was broad and not unique to any one discipline. Also identified was the importance of bringing academics and practitioners together so the scientist-practitioner model of working could be promoted.
Consequently the events TIOFP promotes, develops, and accredits focus on enhancing collaborative working across professional groups. Consultancy services focus specifically on bringing together academic and professional models of working to enhance an understanding of any areas of need or implementation required.
